“Tuliza Cottage” – Gilgil

 A holiday home with a difference……

Tuliza Cottage is a rustic yet modern home just a kilometre off the Nakuru Highway and just 300m from Lake Elementaita.

The Cottage can sleep 10 pax in 3 self-contained rooms and a loft.

The bed configuration consists of a master bedroom- kingsize + single bed (3pax), BR1- one king size bed (2pax), BR2- queen size bed+ one single bed (3pax), Loft – two single beds (2pax).

Fine dining at a neighbouring Italian or lodge restaurant can be arranged in advance.

Chef Services– If you want a proper trained chef, let us know well in advance and it will be organized for a minimum of Kshs. 1,000 per day.

Supplies – You can get supplies from Chawaka Supermarket in Gilgil Town

What to Bring– your food, (a cook can be organized at an extra charge), drinking water, own beverages (a basic bar is available 200m on Lake front), your own music, toiletries ( we provide bath soap, tissue) and a fun attitude! Karibu!

The caretaker will provide firewood for boiler and fireplace (chiminea).  Housekeeper will be available daily to clean and dust or when you require her assistance.

There is a barbeque grill, hammocks, music amplifier if you have ipod or iphone, etc.

Things to do: Hang around the compound in a hammock or in one of the chill zones, Lazy Breakfasts on the lake which is 300m away, swim, dip in the lake, get rejuvenated at the hot springs, hike, bird watch, sundowners on the lake shore, ride your bicycle, jog, practice your photography, etc. Arrangements can be made with neighbouring lodges for those who wish to swim.
