Property Description

MALEPO BUSH HOUSE  is set in the Olelepo Hills, south of Kajiado town towards Namanga, only 2 hours from Nairobi. Our home is a comfy haven in the bush. This is the perfect place for a couple or a family to get right away for a night or two, or longer. The house sleeps 6: upstairs 1 double bed and 1 single bed, downstairs 2 single beds and a sofa bed.

The house is totally off-grid.   We run on solar energy for lights and hot water. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with a gas cooker and a fridge and all the utensils you will need whilst here. We have a log burning fire for chilly evenings and an outside Bbq area to while away the lazy afternoons or enjoy an evening under the stars.

We have several walking tracks for short rambles or hikes up the hills.  Set in 150 acres of acacia bushland, we share the property with 4 other houses, although you wouldn’t know it! Wonderful birdlife abounds, plus game including zebra, eland, impala and kudu. This is a great place for kids, we have flat areas that are perfect for cycling. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars and your guide books!   If you are feeling inspired, we can show you some ideal spots to sit and paint the views.

Safaricom signal is good, so you can bring your wifi dongle or set up a hotspot for internet.
